Announcements

	Welcome to the Columbia Midtown Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are so happy to see you and trust that you will receive a great blessing for having worshipped with us. If you are visiting for the first time, please fill out a visitor’s card to let us know.
	This Friday night, May 23, we’ll be starting our Prophecy Seminars at the Convention Center. On Thursday night, May 22, we’ll have a practice and orientation session for anyone who will be volunteering to help out. Volunteers are requested to arrive by 6:30 on Thursday night, and every night. Jon Tillay, of Southern University, will be speaking every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night from May 23 through June 22. For more information, go to RevelationOfHope.us.
	A Church Board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20. If you have any items that you wish to be considered by the Board, please contact any of the Board members, Elizabeth Baynard, Gary Beihl, Pastor Fry, Doug Leonhardt, Mary Grace McPherson, or Bob Sitko.
	If you haven’t seen the pictures that Doug took at our Fellowship Lunch last Sabbath, take a look at them on our website, MidtownChurch.net.
	Next Sabbath, May 24, we’ll be meeting at the Convention Center for both our Sabbath School lesson at 10, and our worship service at 11:15. There’s free parking right at the door. We’ll be meeting there for the next five weeks (May 24 and 31, and June 7, 14, and 21).
	Please join us this Wednesday evening for our Prayer Meeting and Bible Study, led by Pastor Walter Fry, from 6 to 7 pm, at the Arsenal Hill Community Center at Laurel and Lincoln Streets, next to Finlay Park. This will be our last meeting for awhile, because of the Prophecy Seminars beginning next week. This past week we had an attendance of 50 percent of membership!
	Don't forget that if you wish to make an offering to promote WBAJ through billboard, radio, TV, newspaper or magazine advertising, please mark your envelopes "WBAJ ADVERTISING". If you wish to contribute toward the operating and programming expenses of the radio station itself, mark your envelopes "WBAJ".
	Please pray that the Lord will give us a building soon. And if you are able, please include an offering each week for the “Midtown Church Building Fund”.
