Announcements

	Welcome to the Columbia Midtown Seventh-day Adventist Church. We’ll continue meeting here at the Convention Center through July, and return to the Capital Senior Center in August.
	Today after worship services, the Beihl family will be having a picnic in Guignard Park, just a mile over the Blossom Street bridge in Cayce. Anyone who enjoys “haystacks” and fellowship is welcome to join them.
	There will be a Board Meeting on Tuesday, August 15, at 6 p.m. at Doug’s house. If you would like to add any items for discussion, see any of our Board Members, Elizabeth Baynard, Gary Beihl, Walter Fry, Doug Leonhardt, Mary Grace McPherson, or Bob Sitko.
	At our Wednesday night Bible Study at 6 p.m., we’re continuing our study of Last Day Events. We’ll be meeting here at the Convention Center through July, then move to the Capital Senior Center in August.
	On Sabbath, August 16, there will be a historical lecture on the change of the Sabbath, at the South Carolina Archives and History auditorium, 8301 Parklane, Columbia, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Following the lecture will be a panel discussion, so bring any questions you have about the Sabbath. There will also be many resources on the Sabbath question to take home. 	The First Church will be holding a Seniors Corn Boil tomorrow, Sunday, at 3:00 p.m. at Pastor Glenn Maxson’s home. All seniors from our church are invited to attend. If you need directions to Pastor Maxson’s home, please give him a call at 803-657-5498.
