Announcements

	Welcome to the Columbia Midtown Seventh-day Adventist Church. This will be our last worship service here in the Convention Center. We’ll be meeting next Sabbath, August 2nd, and every week thereafter, at the Capital Senior Center in Maxcey Gregg Park, at the corner of Pickens and Blossom Streets.
	At our Wednesday night Bible Study at 6 p.m., we’re continuing our study of Last Day Events. This week will be our last meeting here at the Convention Center. Starting next Wednesday, August 6, and every Wednesday thereafter, we’ll be meeting at the Capital Senior Center in Maxcey Gregg Park.
	Our twice-monthly Fellowship Lunches begin next month, on August 9 and 23. These will be held immediately after Worship service on Sabbath at the Capital Senior Center.
	Be sure to pick up a copy of our monthly newsletter, the Midtown Herald, if you haven’t received a copy yet. Pastor Fry needs your input on articles for the next issue, so be sure to give him your ideas, notes, or articles for inclusion in the next issue. Let’s all help make this newsletter a success.
	On Sabbath, August 16, there will be a historical lecture on the change of the Sabbath, at the South Carolina Archives and History auditorium, 8301 Parklane, Columbia, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Following the lecture will be a panel discussion, so bring any questions you have about the Sabbath. There will also be many resources on the Sabbath question to take home. 	Our next Board meeting will be held August 5. The meetings were moved to the first Tuesday of each month.
	Communion Sabbath is coming up. Our next Communion, the second one of the year, will be held August 30, the fifth Sabbath of the month.
