	Welcome to the Columbia Midtown Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are so happy to see you and trust that you will receive a great blessing for having worshiped with us. If you are visiting for the first time, please fill out a visitor’s card to let us know.
	Visitors and members alike, please stay after worship today and join us in our twice-monthly Fellowship Lunch. Every 2nd and 4th Sabbaths, we have lunch right here in the Capital Senior Center, and everyone is welcome. There’s always more than enough food, so please stay and fellowship with us!
	Make a note of our new church telephone number, 803-834-9115, and give it out to your friends and family members who might want to call us about our meeting times or location.
	If you don’t have a Sabbath School Quarterly, you can pick up a copy of this week’s and next week’s lesson at the literature table.

	September’s Church Board Meeting will be held Tuesday, September 2, at 6 pm.
	"Small groups in big cities are integral to the church's plan to share Jesus' message of hope," said Michael L. Ryan, vice president of the Seventh-day Adventist world church. Since launching an initiative to reach out to big cities at the Adventist Church's 2005 meeting in St. Louis, the church has broadened its evangelistic efforts. With a project called Hope for Big Cities, the church has intensified outreach in large cities where millions of people from culturally diverse backgrounds live. Adventist Review, April 19, 2007
